'Football French Club' is a new and exciting scheme created to aid children in their Early Language Learning. Focusing on the French language and using the motivational and highly enjoyable theme of football, the scheme allows children to experience a range of opportunities to use the language in a fun and creative learning environment.

The scheme is also beneficial for teachers as all activities are based on the new MFL Framework for teaching languages to Primary-aged children. The scheme has been developed by teachers for teachers and is perfect for the non-specialist who is eager to introduce MFL into their classroom.

The scheme includes games, animations and video to introduce the language, focused tasks using ICT where the children can become familiar with the language and 'training tasks' to consolidate their understanding. Tasks involving sounds are recorded by native French speakers.

A teacher's CD Rom is in development to include useful 'Key Expressions' for use in the classroom and examples of plans, worksheets and games to aid their own teaching of MFL.
